Logistics efficiency is one of the most important elements in Asia Sugar Mills Group’s competitiveness. Our logistics model not only ensures the efficient and sustainable transportation of sugar and ethanol at a competitive cost, but also generates value for the business.
Our Group has invested over 20 Billion US dollars These includes the implantation of an ethanol pipeline, the expansion of sugar and ethanol rail transportation capacity, the construction of transshipment terminals and the expansion and modernization.
Maritime transportation is another Asia Sugar Mills priority. In January 2011, Asia Sugar Mills Group has created Green Asia Line, which controls the largest sugar logistics to charter and manage maritime transportation, aimed at driving competitiveness in sugar and ethanol transportation.
The sugars in Bulk are loaded either at the wharf at Laem Chabang or Koh Si Chang anchorage or a combination of both location (part loading at wharf and part loading at anchorage). Bagged sugars are mostly loaded at Bangkok or Laemchabang seaport.
We only export sugar in bulk vessels from brazil. We don’t accept any kind of containerized sugar exports from Brazil due to containerized shipments will deteriorate our pre-existing bulk sugar exports.
